this is my self portrait i created by using text.

Scanography

Scanography is using a scanner to scan objects and include them in your art.  If you had a 2D object you could close the top but you could not with a 3D object.

Skin Softening

I created a filter layer and erased the parts like the hair and eyes to make the skin look softer.

Warm & Cool Hands

 

i made the pictures look like they were color toned by using different light filtering techniques.

Out of Proportion

I made the picture look out of proportion by enlarging the object and blending it into the picture.

Reflections

I chose to do a reflection in the frames of my glasses.

Photo Aging

Photo aging makes your photograph look older and worn out by using several different filters and different types of brushes to get and aged effect.

David Hockney

  David Hockney was a painter, draughtsman, printmaker, stage designer and photographer that uses several polariod pictures to create on picture.

Carter's Mountain

I color corrected two of the photos using the techniques showed. Then i made one photo black and white and the other a sepia toned. I used a text mask to put the apple in the background of the text.

Portraits

I used cross processing sketches and created a specific brush for this project.

Collage

I chose to replicate the work of Jon Boxerman.  I like the bright colors he uses and how he creates things using different images.

Glowing Lights

The new tool we used on this project was the pen tool to create the curves needed for the lights.

Macro - Sharpening

Sharpening makes the photos appear more clear and shows more detail.  Using macro is better for when you are taking up close photos.

Favorite Photographer

I chose Peter Lik as my favorite photographer because i like his landscape photos.

Splash of Color

I used the paint brush to paint back in the color after I made the rest of the picture black and white.

Typography

Typography is creating images using texts. I created a road at night.

Visual Puns

A visual pun is a pun created by an image. I created the visual puns hotdog and fruitpunch.

Downtown Mall Picture Hunt

I made parts of the pictures disappear by using the clone tool.

To make it look like he was coming off the page, I had his arm coming out of the background. I created the shadow by selecting the player and filling it with black and changing opacity.

Grunge

I used color balance and some adjustment layers to get this effect. Grunge pictures are rough and have an older look to them.

Rule of Thirds

The rule of thirds is when the frame is divided into three parts horizontally and vertically. The most interesting object in the image should be located at the intersections of the lines.

Kaleidescope

I used the transform tools to rotate different parts of the pictures and merged layers to create it into one.

Pop Art

Pop art is a style of art that uses bright colors to replace regular colors in images. Andy Warhol was one of the best at doing this.
